When in Paris: The Hoxton

When in Paris: The Hoxton

Back in the day, Nietzsche supposedly said that “an artist has no home in Europe, except in Paris”. Unfortunately, the statement no longer rings true – though the bohemian spirit, of course, still lingers in modern day perceptions of everything Paris. Once a home for the intellectual elite and vanguard writers, the Paris of today is no longer a centre of critical thought or cutting edge art. Still, it’s Paris. It’s history, it’s beauty, it’s cobblestone and Instagram hues. Paris is never a bad idea, and all that jazz. And while there’s no lack of breathtaking hotels in the city of love and Nutella crepes, but The Hoxton might be my favourite of them all.
